WHAT IS XALTE?
Produced and harvested in protected salt reserves in Colima, Mexico, flor de sal (fleur de sel) is a premium salt due to its high mineral profile and delicacy.
The salt is a result of the evaporation of sea water on the surface, forming a delicate crust of pyramidal crystals, known as fleur de sel (flor de sal). Flor de sal can only be harvested by hand during rainy season high tides, contributing to its rarity and premium quality.

Our salt operations are sustainably focused, we use all natural, by hand harvesting methods to gather and package our salts. We use recyclable materials for packaging our products. We are at a zero-waste landfill status and aiming for net-zero emissions by 2060.

It melts very slowly on the tongue, allowing you to savor the wonderful flavor we offer you.
